Janina Monkute Marks - Art Album (0140)

The Artist has donated most of the works reproduced in this book to Lithuania. They are on exhibit at the Janina Monkute Marks Museum in Kedainiai.

The purpose of this book is to provide an opportunity to enjoy an appreciate not only the wonderful art of Janina Monkute Marks but her personal determination, courage, hard work, and creative attitude toward everyday as well. For example, Janina Marks encourages other to aim for the highest goals, to share and to give, and not to resign themselves to unfavorable circumstances.

The artist's tapestries, prints, and paintings have been exhibited at the Lithuanian Museum of Art in Vilnius, Lithuania, as well as museums and galleries in the United States. Her art has touched and inspired numerous individuals on both sides of Atlantic Ocean. Most of all, this book is dedicated to these individuals. That's why it is in English and Lithuanian.
