The compilation of the articles in this book was completed in 1984.  Its publication was delayed to 1991.  This, however, has not altered the essence or meaning of the statements; the attitudes reflected here are still indicative of youth searching for and attempting to define their identity.

The biographical information of some of the young contributors os dated, for they are now in different stages of their careers.
