Woven Vintage Juosta(Sash) (0207)

The juosta has been a part of Lithuanian culture and tradition for so long that no one can really say when it began. The patterns woven onto these sashes were especially meaningful as they displayed a unique symbolic language passed down from ancient times.

This vintage juosta is emblazoned with a traditional Lithuanian motif and "Lietuva 1994" woven into its design.  It measurers 92"x5." not counting decorative fringe on each end.
